Export Basics Seminar

Subsurface Oil and Gas Rights: Oral Argument to PA Supreme Court

Ronald Hicks, Jr., recently presented an oral argument to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in the case of Herder Spring Hunting Club v. Keller. This case discusses the question of whether recorded subsurface oil and gas rights can be divested through subsequent tax sales in the name of the unimproved surface estate owner.
